Warriors Complete McDonald Loan Deal

Wigan today completed the loan transfer of Wayne McDonald from Leeds Rhinos. Wayne has joined the club until the end of the season and goes into the Warriors squad for Friday's engage Super League game at Bradford Bulls, 8pm kick off.

Coach Denis Betts said,

"We have been following Wayne's progress during the season as we are aware that he was not selected for every game by Leeds. We are of course delighted that Leeds have agreed to allow Wayne to join us for the rest of the season as it certainly strengthens our forward pack following the loss of several players since the start of the season."

Wayne McDonald added,

"I am pleased that by joining Wigan that I will be able to play regular first team football. I want to play every week in Super League if possible and Denis Betts has given me a great chance. I am looking forward to the task."
