Status:
 Fully fit
2008 will be a year Karl wants to forget as an injury from
his time at Gloucester took much longer to heal than had been anticipated and he
never figured in contention to play. The season proved one of frustration but
full credit to him for his continued determination to get fit, in essence Karl
will be like a new signing for the Club for 2009.
The powerful centre/winger joined on a two year deal in December 2007 from
Gloucester Rugby Union where he spent the previous 12 months. He will be looking
for a big 2009 and effectively will be like a new signing for the Club now fully
fit.
Pryce played under Brian Noble at Bradford Bulls and the 6’6 back has both power
and pace.
Karl came through the academy ranks at the Bulls to break into the first team.
He scored 138 points in 52 appearances for the Bradford first team
including 17 tries in 25 appearances in 2005. He was also called into the Great
Britain squad in 2006 before deciding to switch to Union.
Karl is the younger brother of St Helens stand off, Leon.
